Default my first home made dual red

my first dual red made with diodes and cube from the doctor
diodes set axisz housings set in ali blocks 3mm beamand good
divergence i think dont know to much about that side of it dont know how to work it out but the beam spot is about 100mm at 300m and are being driven light with two die4drives at 180ma each guessing at 280mw output
hoping pic attaches ok not done it before

100mm spot at 300m is about .3mR - very nice! The link seems broken though

    Thumbs up

Nice. I see you are using the die4Drive. That top link is invalid. What are you measuring off that beast?

    Hi Badger
Nice work - If no one else helps you out I will be bringing my lasercheck to the UK meet.
    See you there

If these are the rohm diodes at 180mA each you are getting about 85-95mW each.

You might have seen my post about this, I am making a quad set up currently (waiting on the diodes). However, I will be using one Die4Driver. Since they are the same diodes they can be driven together. I talked to Robin about this and he said just to put a 2.2ohm resistor in line with each diode. And since the diodes I have are rated at ~200mA I have a bit of headroom on the driver. 800mA total, and I will probably push them to about 900-950mA.
