    Default hgm 5 needs help

    hello all
    the hgm i have has blown a fuse.
    i powered it up and it poped and a flash.
    pulled the cards and found a fuse bad, seems to be 32 volts
    any idea what would cause this?
    i have ran the laser a few times this week and it has ran good.
    also where do i get a fuse 32 volt is this common

    Hi, the 32V rating is unusual, but it's a minimum arc-flash extingushing related specification. You can replace a 32V fuse with one rated for 120 or 240V as long as the current ratings are the same.

    Have you traced where the fuse goes to, and found no problems?

    try replacing the 6 amp bridge in the card, check the zener diode and the two transistors.
    If you cant get to run, I have a friend who stocks the cards.

    The bridge above the caps, if its not on this card, its in the passbank.

    Jeff, come see me today (Sunday) and we will run through the passbank with my lil bitty tester and figure it out.
