and why is the UK the only ones having meets?? i think in 2008, the east coast needs a good meet!!

The east coast currently has TWO meets scheduled for 2008. However, they're a bit further south along the coast...

The first one will be on Saturday, March 1st. (FLEM Mark II) That will be held in Orlando, Florida. (Home of Pangolin!) Big thanks to Clandestiny for making the venue available to us again. See this thread for details about this upcoming event. (Just 2 months away!)

The second meet is SELEM 2008, and that will be in Newton, North Carolina on Saturday and Sunday, August 16th and 17th. Yeah, that sounds like a long time from now, but trust me - it will be here before you know it. Make your travel plans now. (And watch the Laser Meet-N-Greet sub-forum for details on SELEM 2008 as they become available. Venue is unchanged from last year.) Here are a couple links that talk about what SELEM 2007 was like, in case you missed it.
