please check my post on LPF, I had to add a notch (or two, for flexibility) to expand the beam path:

perhaps they were intended for 30 degree dichroics?

    Dr.Lava,

    Like I said at LPF.
I actually had a chance to really check out the mounts a few days ago, and I realize how close the mounts are, although I didn't have a chance to actually test them at 45deg. Your solution over on PhotonLexicon looks great. I hope people aren't upset about this

I'll write to Bridge and see what we can do to resolve this. Unfortunately that might be a few days due to the time it takes for someone on vacation to respond (we all know we wouldn't want to think about work on our off days ok... well then again... I don't work with lasers so IDK... lol)

I'll get back to you regarding this.
Quoted so both forums are on the same page.

Can't you just turn the dichro 180 degrees in the mount and have the reflective surface on the other side?

That's the way it's assumed to be. A beam still has to pass through the center at an angle, though. It wasn't hard at all to mill these slots.
In all I'm happy with the value and construction of these mounts, the thread pitch is incredible! Thanks Max.

Thanks Dr.Lava and sorry for the inconvenience everyone.

But I completely agree the threads are great!! The 3-Axis mounts have what seem to be a higher thread count compared to the 2-Axis mounts.

Has anyone else received their goods?

    -Resolved-

OK so due to the thickness of the metal, I spoke to Bridge and all newer mounts will have a L-shaped back. this will allow the proper angle as well as less weight. He said he couldn't make the thickness of the metal thinner due to temperature fluctuations changing the angle of the dichro.
