Default PBS Cubes (650 and 473nm) + AR Coated Dichros + Mirror Mount Group Buy

Wow, it seems like the last PBS group buy just ended. But we're starting up another!

Are you ready for the sequel?

The successful original GB can be found here: http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...ead.php?t=3009

I spoke to Bridge today and got some great news! This group buy will be all encompassing. It will be for the following items:

    1) 15mm^3 473nm PBS Cube $30
    2) 15mm^3 650nm PBS Cube $30
    3) 15mm Diameter AR Coated (reflect blue and green pass red) $30
    4) 15mm Diameter AR Coated (reflect blue pass green and red) $30
    5) Dichrohic 2-Axis Mount (accepts 15mm dichros above) $30
    6) Dichrohic 3-Axis Mount (accepts 15mm dichros above) $40
7a) Dichrohic Kit - (includes 1 each of the AR Dichros and Two 2-Axis mounts) $105
7b) Dichrohic Kit - (includes 1 each of the AR Dichros and Two 3-Axis mounts) $120

I think the title of this thread gave away the surprise... But there it is! Prices listed are if we achieve the quantity breaks below and do not including shipping costs.

I know its a lot of different products, but I figure the more we get into this group buy the more the shipping cost can be diluted.

Quantity: just like the first time we need 50pcs of each type of PBS cube.
We also need 50 of each type of dichrohic for the price listed above.
The mounts we need 20pcs of each type as our minimum.

These quantity breaks should not be hard to make. The most difficult to achieve I would imagine is with the PBS cubes.

Please post or PM your order to me. I will go into payment details once the group buy is nearing completion, and I will PM everyone already *in* the group buy at that time.

The dichrohic kit discount was an idea offered by Bridge as a special for PL members!

Also, if particular item(s) do not achieve the price break quantity in about 1-1.5 months I will:
    a) Contact Bridge to see if the quantity we currently have is ok.

    -If not O.K.-

    b) Post the options available (most likely to drop the item, or keep waiting for buyers) in this thread and take a poll to find the majority ruling of what to do.

I must emphasize the following sentence from the original group buy:
Please only put your name down if you definitely want the number you ask for, as this really needs to be binding. Pulling out at the last minute will probably ruin it for everyone...

If you need any clarification please post it here or PM me.

    Thanks!
    -Max

    1st order brings us to

    (1) 15mm 473nm PBS cube
    (2) 15mm 650nm PBS cubes
    (1) 2-axis dichro kit with dicros & mounts

Not including the stuff I plan on getting. I still haven't made up my mind.

Keep sending them in, I'll try to update the list once every day.

    One question :
    The mounts...
How do I mount them ?

They have no L bracked (foot) ?

I have to contact Bridge tonight for some other information I will post an answer later tonight or tomorrow morning.

But I am willing to bet there is a threaded port on the bottom or something to the liking.

My Edmunds dichrohic mount has either a 3/8ths or 1/4" hole on the bottom. I just tapped my breadboard where I needed it and used a 10-32 or 8-32 screw... cant remember off the top of my head. :-/

OK heres the news on the Dichro mount. The bottom has a hole in it for mounting just like the Edmund Optics mount I have.

They are 100 Threads Per Inch!! (well specifically 4 threads per 1mm)For VERY fine adjustment.

kidding... haha, its been a long day of trying to study... I have to joke around a bit now...

I was thinking about opening it up to laserfreak forums too... but it seems like the English side of the site isn't very active at all...
