Default mixed group buy for SCANPRO20,30,and 40s ?

We want to offer a mixed group buy for these scanners.

    Adam(buffo) kindly reviewed the 30k's here : http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...ead.php?t=3472

All these scanners are properly tuned at the factory, unlike the ECO series of scanners. Also the 40k scanners are true 40k scanners, unlike other scanners with the number '40' in their model number

All scanners can be ordered with either 6x11mm, 5x10mm mirrors

    SCANPRO20 $275USD
    SCANPRO30 $525USD
    SCANPRO40 $625USD

They are the bottom 3 ads on this page: http://lasershowparts.com/store/inde...ewCat&catId=13

If we can get at least 5 interested people, we can ship all of the group buy to a nominated person at our expense, and then they can be distributed from there. This should save a bit more cash!

    Cheers

Your ebay offerings have been tempting me for a while, and I noticed that a few of the (10k) auctions specify that the galvos have no feedback. Do all of these sets you are offering have galvo feedback?
    thanks
    -Andrew

EDIT: I looked at your site and saw that they do all have feedback.

    Dave,
For a while now I have wanted to play with some of the chinese scanners-
But I've had big reservations about mirror quality and power handling-
I need something that can handle at least 10 watts-
Whats your opinion on this- and do any of anyones cheapo scan sets meet this requirement?
If I can find some- I'll buy a few sets-

Firstly, all our scanners are closed loop, and have feedback. The PRO's have a feedback output to facilitate connection to a safety board.

    Now to answer Paul's question.

The standard mirrors will handle up to 5w.

There are some high power mirrors available for 532nm, and will handle up to 50w with a reflectivity of 99% (the standard mirrors and 93-95% to be on the safe side, but are usually 95-96%)

Hope these answers are some help

    Dave-
well thats is sort of good news- but is the 50 watt mirror availabble on these scan sets?- and how much-

I have lots of high power sets- but they are for cambridge and gs-

so i've heard these types of scan sets use special sizes- hard to mount etc-

bottom line could i order yours with high power mirror?

    thanks

Yes the 50w mirrors are for these scan sets. However they are only suited to green

thanks for the info- pm me with pricing details on the better mirror-
I'd probably try a set on other wavelenghts as well just to see what the losses would be-

the mirror is the same cost for all types.

There is no blanking mount available, however the diameter of the scanner body is 12.7mm if that helps

    Cool

    Hey Paul;

For what it's worth, I think you'll be OK with the standard mirrors up a little beyond 5 watts. I know George has pushed 8 watts through his sets before, and he hasn't fried a mirror yet.

Besides, you can always replace the mirrors with some cambridge mirrors if you want to run 20 watts through them. (Mirrors are cheap)

For the stuff you do, I'd suggest the ScanPro 30's. They're really nice.

    Adam
