Hello!
Laser runs now ~1200Hours and nothing new is happend. Next time I try to make pics where you can see how nice blanking ist , but now I havenīt got any suitable pics.
Thanks,
Phil
wow,1200hours passed.
waiting for the 1500hours point, then 2000hours..................
thanks ,Phil, thanks for your patience and well working.
Best regards!

Hello!
No news yet, but I canīt make pics of the analogue blank... Donīt know how to do ,...
But modulation of the Laser-Wave is nicer! More linear than the CNI.
Thanks,
Phil
oh Phill,
one more weeks had gone, would you like tell all of us the lasers station, anything happen to these unit?
also we 'd like to see more pictures. not only CW power, but also TTL or Analog test.factual used test would be more welcome.
yes, after a very long time test, would you like give us a schedule general compare result?
thanks for your kindly test.
Best regards!
Bridge

Hi,
Thank you for your tests and your pictures...
The output power is great for the announced 1W-
But one factor very important for me is the beam diameter-
Can you measure the beam size at a determined distance, like 10, 15 or 20m ?
thanks-
Geoffroy
Hello!
I have now mount the 2 lasers on a baseplate for make a analogue blanking test.
I made a small video, where you can see, that the Laserwave blanks more linear than the CNI!
Laserwaves are MUCH more linearity.
Next days (after have build out the DT40pro of my projector) I will make some testpics with the lasers to see how they work on blanking !
Thanks,
Phil

Ummmm, the CNI seems to be just as linear as the Laserwave

Look at the video around 0:06. It looks like the CNI have a dip in the output power. Look to the reflection at the baseplate.
But I agree, it is hard to see from the video.
Phritzler, it would be great if you could make a graph with output power agains the modulation voltage from both lasers.
Something like this:
First picture you can see two 400mW CNI I have. And as you can see I'm not verry happy with them. (Bad modulation)
One lost also a 100mW of output power in less then 25 hours of use.
Compared to my 200mW TTL CNI lasers the 400mW Analogue looks weaker as the 200mW TTL
In the second picture you see two 400mW Laserwave modules I have aswell.
So now you can clearly see in this case that Laserwave have a better linearity!!

Dave - the two lasers are taking the same analog signal. Do you remember after the original FLEM (I think it was Steve Roberts) that was complaining about the linearity of the DPSS lasers? His argument was that DPSS sometimes get up to 1-2volts before any major power comes out of the laser. Then from 2-5volts you have a huge swing. I think that is the linearity issue Phil is speaking of. Notice how the laser-wave begins to ramp up far before the CNI.
If you were to compare a show that was very dynamic in regards to its modulation I am sure you would quickly see a difference.
But yeah I agree a nice graph would show something that a camera never could.
