Default Good Scanners for graphic animations

    Hello Folks!

I have a question on scanners.
Since my regularly work is with laser graphics / animation related shows.
I need your suggestions on having good scanners in my 30 watt RGB laser projectors.
Is EMS 8000 or EMS 9000 good for animations or is there a better ones.

    Thanks
    Rupesh

EMS8000 are fantastic. With every scanner beamsize at nearfield makes allot of difference. For example 5mm aperture is 60K with ems8000. Ems8000 with 6.5mm size at nearfield is 40Kpps. That is why low power lasers up till 12W can do 60KPPS because beamsize at nearfield is usually small. Above 12W beamsize goes up and scanspeed goes down. Bigger powers don,t need fast scanning as they are mainly used for beamshows anyway.

Interested in 6-12W RGB projectors with low divergence? Contact me by PM!

DT50's are a good performer at a great value. Jian is active on this forum, too. If you want top of the line, I would recommend ScannerMax, the Saturn 5 series. Capable of 90k display speed. EMS scanners are solid performers though.
