Question Is laserpod Worth the money ?

    I will buy a laserpod ..

but this thing seems cool also :

    http://cgi.ebay.com/LASER-STAR-PROJE...QQcmdZViewItem

But is that worth the money ?

Shall I just buy a Laserpod instead ?

    http://www.gizoo.co.uk/Products/Home...2-laserpod.jpg

Or should I buy them both ??

    thanx for advice

I guess that a "laserlover" just MUST have everything that have writed "LASER" on it

    Yep,
I like my star projector a lot, I use it just about every nite.
Its not the same as a real projector , but it suffices.
At least it saves wear and tear of the laser projector..

I've the laserpod for some years now.
Yes it's a nice thing, but if worth the money I can't say for you.
I still like it but I almost never use it anymore
BTW, you can tweak the laserpod to higer power
Inside are 3 red lasers with a podmeter, just set it higher
and the output is a lot birghter, but look out for your eyes

I've had a laserpod for a number of months and I too hardly use it now.
It did look pretty when I ran it without the top in a smoke filled garage with small beams clearly defined and I had it near my monitor for a few weeks but it got put away in its box.
Nice toy but not really an essential (even if it does contain a laser).

yeah from the pictures though it looks like it would be cool to have... I am sure someone here could make a much cooler case for them and then put a 100mw or something in there

Oh I've seen the Star projector in person. It's great. But it's just a 5mw green through a diffraction grating and blue LED. Really nifty. But I've seen it for $99 I think at Spencer Gifts.

I'd love to just get my hands on that grating. I looked up the manufacture and they said the grating was propitiatory.

But I would love one. I think I would mod it though. Like make it pulse to music.

    I know it`s a 5mW green..
But 5mW in total darknes at night is more than you need..
I did use som small simple red ones for a lumia effect on my room at night.

And trust me 5mW was to much for the eye at night

BTW: I did use the red laser with a lumia wheel in the roof at night, so the child can se it before it fell to sleep (the child was 1-2 year old) it did works out great...

DJdevNull: I quote you one some words you say (sorry for my lack of english) ""I looked up the manufacture and they said the grating was propitiatory.""

What is Gratig, and what is propitiatory ?

    Thanx again
