    Hello people.

I should be bringing my AT Laser Athene II RGY Chinese thing (250mW red and 150mW green) for people to poke and if Norm's DAC get's here in time it 'may' be fitted in it - we will see

    Default Norms Galvo

Hi. I finaly got my kit from Norm today (not his fault - it has taken over 6 weeks to get here). I have attached a couple of pics of the kit. I would love to have it built for the meet, but doubt it somehow. ( I have to fix my son's XBox360 this weekend for one thing). I got the DAC kit some time ago, it is built but not tested yet. I will take pics as I build the galvo kit. See you all soon. David

Hi Andy, Undoubtably it is far easier to buy galvo's - but I enjoy buiding things! Norm's site: http://norm.servehttp.com. David

Just to get us in the mood a bit more - like we need it! Here are a couple of pix I just took of the SP168 firing at one of bridges gratings

Ban news is never far away - just had a failure on the driver card of my G120s I think its one of the power transistors but need to diagnose fully - this is a problem as its the scanners that the SP168 uses

I do have a spare set with driver card but the driver is shit.

To be honest im not sure....here is a pic of it (see below)
Im gonna have a proper look tomorrow - busy testing release candidates of mamba for OG at the moment. I think its one of the output power transistors - which dont seem to be available so I may end up having to do a substiution - they are 2n3715 & 2n3791 10A 60V audio amp driver.
Im sre I can cross something to fit but better make certain its that first
