I think we need a sticky function or tutorial forum section. No talk... just a pure advice! It's hard to find it here. All buried under tons other topics.

I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!
Good idea doc,
I always read stuff and find it interesting. then when I come to have a problem, and I know I've read the answer somewhere on here, I'm buggered if I can find it again.
Cheers
Rich
I agree to some extent. The problem is that the threads tend to turn to crap once everyone puts their two cents in. If there was some way to control that it might work, though.
What about Wiki style forum. Only one post per topic but it can be edited by senior members?!?!

How about a circuit/diagram area?

Good idea as well. I think it could be the same style. One post per topic.
"CT6800 wiring diagram" "Simple USB DAC" etc. Description, tips....and image attached. Simple and easy to find.

Good idea - this works well on other forums, e.g. BlueRoomWhat about Wiki style forum

I agree with the Wiki idea... but it would be nice to have the contributions go through a separate administrator that could filter spam-like modifications.
The only failure of this approach is that 'there is more than one way to skin a cat' or in this case build a laser show
When I did my alignment guide i posted it in PDF format - I was gonna convert Adams scanner tune up tutorial to the same - maybe all we need is space on FTP (which we got) plus some clear list of whats in there.

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.
