Default Looking for US source for PSU

Does anyone know where to get these PSU's from the US? I've Googled myself silly trying to track them down.

Ideally 120v ac in, and differential output with +/- 15-18 volts.

Fry's carries them but seem permanently out of stock.

Welcome to my world! I have also been googling like crazy trying to find one for something I am working on.

You didn't include current draw if you can get away with 800ma this might work.

I am looking for +- 24vdc at about 5 amps in the smallest most compact package available.
you usually can also get two +15 volt supplies and tie the + of one to the - of the other and use the connected ones as ground. Be careful with switching types and make sure that the - isn't tied to ground some are some are not.

We have been using stuff from XP Power...

    http://www.xppower.com/productSelect...&gri=2&lang=US

The build quality seems second to none, and the supplies we use (ECM40's) are nice and small...

This might be worth a shot, just spin a tall story!!

    Thanks...

I didn't see the price list - any idea how much for a +/- 15v one with enough current for an X/Y 20K scanner set?

    Default good powersupply dealer

I was looking for a good powersupply and i found a supplier with i think a good variety of several supplies. Cheap ones and some beter quality ones.

    http://www.psui.com/cgi-bin/shopper....eywords=cfm100

the link is the cheap one (5v/20amps) for powering the modules

    there,s also a 2.5 amps/24v one

    CFM60S240

and the size is only 125mm by 76 mm

This one is even smaller 101.6mm by 50 mm and it delivers at 5v/20 amps!!!

    Cool

I've always been pleased with the units from AllElectronics.com myself... Very affordable, and available in just about any voltage and current range.
