    I was talking to Matt Polak today about 60k scanners and he sent me a link to a project he and Steve Heminover worked on for SIGGRAPH last year.
    This is what a pair of 60k scanners can do for you.

    Anyone know what the scan angle is?

    Very nice. I never had an idea that such a thing was possible.

    I can't wait until they develop galvos with no moving parts so that we're no longer limited by inertia.

    btw: what I think is better than faster scan speed is more angle of the galvo!

    See I would agree. I think there needs to be a balance between the two as I'm sure you'd agree.
