    No, LASORB is kinda active/passive. It is active when there is a "threat". Otherwise it will appear invisible. (Hey wait, isn't that an oxymoron? ) But when it is "active" it is really pretty aggressive at protecting the diode.

    I am not sure yet. We may, one day, sell a REALLY improved laser diode driver. This particular driver was made to test a few techniques, all of which worked very well. But there are a few other ideas we also want to add to it. Nevertheless, this little driver is really much better than anything else we have seen, which is why Francesco keeps bugging me to sell it...

    Yes, as far as I know, these don't exist. But it's just a nice contrast over the orange color we chose for the LASORB logo and text.

    Blue 473 diodes in a 5.6mm can do exist now very expensive tho.
