what fun ive had tonight!!!

first off put the two new diodes in ym duel red, big thanks to simon.
wired it all up etc, turned it on and they went dim!!!!!!!!! i went fooking mad!!!!

connected the DAC and well look at the pics!!!!

big problem with the FB3, it can only do red green, not red blue

so ive used moncha for these pics

no, on moncha you can change green to blue or red. so its not a problem

Those are beautiful pictures, you certainly seem to have a talent as a photographer

Why did the diodes go dim? They look fine on the photo's so i'm assuming they weren't damaged.

well when everything is on but nothing displaying, as in dac plugged in out not playing the reds seems to be outputting 5mw???

Very nice work andy_con, those pics look great! I'm a bit concerned about the FB3 thing. I looked at the pangolin website and it says this:

two 12-bit channels for X and Y scanner signals, and four 8-bit color/intensity channels, typically used to control red, green, blue and intensity signals.

Are you certain it is wired properly?
