tuning scanners

i need to tune the scanner but can not find any information for them, with regards to what pot dose what, can anyone help. the laser is from silverray.

Hey, at least there are only 4 pots. You're looking for 3, so you're odds are fairly good. I got nothin though man. I'd probably play around carefully and see which changes which, but I know what to look for now that I have messed around with mine for hours, and hours. Buffo's thread on tuning is the way to go once you have determined what pot is what. You may want to take a few more pics though. The galvos, closer look at the model numbers... and probably wait for someone wiser that I am to take advice from.

They look like the same ones noiseboy is having problems with.

Yea, doing a comparison on the pics, the look almost exactly the same. The model numbers look different but that maybe the angles. I still think they are the scanco 20s. PM dave a pic of them.

i think they are deffinately the scanco 20`s all the boards shipped with the kit match mine, even down to the led board!!!

Thats why I insisted on Tutorial forum. There was a great topic on tunning scanners. Try to find it.! Good luck!
