Hi Guys.

I would like to express my interest in attending the next UKLM. The 10th of August is good for me as my two weeks off work starts the following day (Monday).
If there are any other PL members from the NW thinking of going then maybe we could travel together and cut fuel cost in the wake of the current fuel price madness.

Hello Carl - and all
there will be a merseyside contingent leaving for leicester (assuming thats where the meet will be) however my car is usually packed to the brim with kit but we may find space to squeeze you in nearer the time. I am hoping that my car will be full of my whitelight and all its support (again) but it all depends on whether I get it working before the meet or not - my intention is to have it working but we will see....

As for the date its sure good for me - lets face it I will be there short on nuclear attack Dunno how it fits with Kevski or Hoppy but im certain they will come if they can.

I cant wait - nerd overload!

Hi Andy .....

Mark is very busy at the moment, I spoke to him a couple of days ago and hes upto his kneck in work.

he also in the process of setting up a new Club, so if Mark is kind enough to host the event for the third time running ( and everyone must agree hes done a smashing job with the last two ) there will be a venue change

but from what i understand .... its better than the last venue and ground floor .... im looking forward to it all ready

oh Carl ..... if i can attend ( work permitting ) i will be travelling from Lytham .... i think you said you live in preston .... if so i can pick you up on the way .... but be prepared .... i tend to make a weekend of it last year i drove down on the saturday .... spent saturday night at marks pub then went to his club .... sunday UKLEM .... then drove back monday morning ...... so warn the missus first

I do live in Preston near Chorley Nissan (Strand Road). A lift would be great but i'm going to have to sweet talk the other half as it's her birthday on August 10th. An issue that had slipped my mind writing my last post on this thread. God help if I do forget.

Hi,
Looking forward to the next meet wherever it is! Where I live the location is fairly irrelevent - its a long way anyway!
Getting a dose of coherent photons is not exactly an everyday event up here.
If there is a chance that someone else is travelling from this far north (Inverness) I might be able to offer a lift.
I am really looking forward to another meet - everyone was so friendly at the last one. I might actually have something to bring this time, though doubtfully RGB as seems almost commom now!
