    Hi Guys

Must say the new venue for the next UKLEM looks great. Just one concern. The front edge of the belconey looks to have a reflective finish to it. This should not be an issue if all of the lasers that are said to be going all point in the direction of the stage or the reflective serface is covered with some none reflective material. As some of you intend to set up on the balconey the only obveose direction to project is towards the stage making the stage the no-go area within the venue.

Looking forward to meeting up with you all and don't be suprised if you find me drooling over some of your white projectors. Only got two greens my self.

Hello, I was wondering is there anyone from glasgow or who would be travelling through glasgow that could give me a lift down,? I'd love to try and go if I can , it would be my first time, as I'm only 14 ( I'll need to ask my dad, because he would probably need to come with me but he likes lasers as much as I do ) Also I would probably be bringing some of my greenies and my power supply. only got two lasers so far, but will maybe have another one or two by then and will maybe have made a spirogram.

thanks to anyone who can help

    Hi Diachi

We had a youngster with his dad in tow last time (tomcat) though you would beat him to the youngest active member at the meet award by a couple of years . Hope you can get a lift as you will be welcome with however many lasers you have to bring.

    hope to see you there

    Rob
If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

For some reason that escapes me I've failed to mention until now on PL that I being A big Jean Michel Jarre fan have built my self a full working 9 beam laser harp. Would anyone like to see this appear at the meet in August. Photo of harp below and it's not me playing.
    Attachment 2754

The harp only has a 150 mW green laser in it with the beams being created with a defraction greating and 9 light dependent resistors's fitted in an overhead cross bar. This will mean I'll have to bring my keyboard (Technics KN6000). Will the venue have a PA system?
