Yes I indeed do have another "vag burner" for sale..lol. !

Laserscope Orion 532nm KTP Q switched Nd:YAG

Converted for laser show use.
-> Isolation transformer removed.
-> Redundant optics and controls removed.
-> Original control screen and keyboad removed.
-> Original control board retained purely to control KTP oven.
-> Additional cooling fans added for long term use.
-> ALE YD6 6 killowatts PSU wired to give variable output using a potentionmeter.
-> Additional internal potentiometer to set maximum user lamp current.
-> Switch to enable running in CW mode.

Single/Multi Phase PSU - (can run 3 phase 220v or UK 240v single phase)
Original Metal case on wheels retained.
Original ALE Power supply unit.
Crystal Technology Q switch.
PSU current set at 29 amps maximum for longevity. (Could do more !!)
Laser output 20 to 30 watts Q switched (upto 12 watts CW according to specs)
(I have not measured this for power)

No scanning or optics other than the laser itself.

I have a folder of circuit diagrams and technical information for the PSU, Q switch and modifications for lasershow use.

The unit is in Full working order and good overall condition.
This is an unfinished project and so will need some wiring tidying up and extra safety equipment added such as a beam shutter..etc...
The Z fold resonator is partly open and I recomend the new owner fabricate some extra covers to shield the IR and visibal light extrusions.
(I beleive this is how they were manufactured !)

Demonstrations can be arranged. The buyer will have to arrange pickup (southern england).

I dont have any photo's at present but will get some up for the weekend.

I need to sell this reasonably quick as I have a new project that needs funding.

This unit is a very dangerous laser if missued (as are all lasers )
The buyer will have to demonstrate to me that they have a good understanding of laser and electrical safety.
Strictly no bedroom DJ's ... LOL

lol...well as the add does not specify that it is in "excellent condition" "good exterior condition"??? Wouldn't that be great if you were buying a Lexus and the salesman said "well sir...its in good exterior condition" might you have any photos of this revolutionary piece of equipment

The point I was trying to make is that it cosmetically looks acceptable as I am sure if the paintwork was rusting and/or deeply scratched then someone could assume the laser may have had a hard life on tour.

Anyone seeing a picture of your goodself Pat would think its just another overweight american but who could tell you are so knowledgable just by looks...LOL

I have described this laser accurately from the information I have.
I am sure it isnt as perfect as you but then the price reflects this.... Get over it
