    Default REALLY stupid scanner question

Hey all, I'm in the process of taking the plunge, as my la freak got here TODAY. I'm taking it slowly for fear of damaging something, but the only real question I have is this: What exactly does the safety system consist of for the dt40pro, I Have a "safety + and - on each galvo amp, also labeled "j5", but when I jump them, nothing happens, so I'm confused as to what I'm supposed to connect across these things to get the image working

the blanking works halfway, but doesn't want to dim all the way off, I'm connected to the analog blanking connector of my laser-wave blue, and haven't set an option in la quick to analog or ttl, so that could be the problem, but I'm not sure, haven't really messed with the software yet, trying to get the projector built first.

    anyway, thanks for your help

so I add it fot that safety.

I also don't know how to use that "safety"

None of that helps my problem. I need to know what the safety jumpers on my dt40 amps are used for, and how to connect them in order for my scanners to work, do they need to be jumped, should I apply a voltage? do I wire them to the interlock a and b on the ilda cable, and if so, since there are two sets, will there be a problem if i just wire them together?

It's quite simple: Don't do anything with them!
