    Default Open Can diodes

It seams there are various versions of open can diodes used in Pioneer drives, newer ones seam to have greater power.

Could we band together here and upload photos of diodes, just a photo and the drive it was taken from with drive versions and if possible the max power obtained?

It wil help us all to target specific drives.

    Kaz,

Do you know the date of the drive, am sure the bits are in the bin now but if not have a look, It seams there are now three versions of this style diode in pioneer, two styles were in the 115d and a newer style " will take a photo asap" in the 212.

Here is that diode i was talking about, I added some lines to show the differnce, it has a more sharper top corner than older diodes. This one is from a pioneer DVR-212 febuary.
