Default Projector Enclosure Group Buy from Laser Visuals

    Hi Guys,

I'm trying a group buy on the Pre-Fabricated Laser Enclosures from Laser Visuals UK. We are after around 4, however, their minimum order now is 10, so i need 6 people up for buying these enclosures, as I can't justify spending a grand on cases!

Julie from LV has quoted me £85 + VAT Per case, so thats what they cost.- and bearing in mind these are good cases, spec'd by the people who do the laser safety courses! They have holes punched on the back for 2 x 25 DSUB, Keyswitch, mains IEC etc and have loads of space inside

Please visit: http://www.laservisuals.com/enclosure for dimensions and photos etc..

Is that case big enough for an RGB with power supplies and all.

I should think so- look at the dimensions of the case on the link. It's pretty big- half a meter wide!

Depends on how big the PSU's etc are, but I reckon you'd easily fit it in there.

These are way too big for a single 1 watt green laser, power supply and scanner right?

I dont know if I would say too big - but rather roomy - with space to stretch your legs

Hmmm I just read that they're made out of steel - that disappoints me just a little bit. Any possibility they can make these out of aluminum?

Yes they are quite roomy for just a single diode setup, however, it means there is plenty of room to add at a later date

Plus there doesn't seem to be anything else on the market pre-fabricated that doesn't cost in excess of £300+ ($600+)

I've decided we only need 3 now, so thats 7+ we have available. So just to confirm, how many people are in for sure and what qty do they want?

    Rgds
