    Default Newport Optic Mounts

just thought youd guys like to know-

i bought 6 of these and they work EXCELLENT!!! very sturdy, built well and EXTREMELY affordable. only draw back is they are a little on the "big" side (width wise). if space is an issue for you they might not be the right mounts for you to use.

other than that they are great for 95% of the mounting that we do. (IMO). i wouldnt use them for medical or industrial aligning obviously. but for simple dichro mounting and/or beam table mirrors- they're perfect!

Yeah don't get me started with EO! They are on my s-list too! I bought a 3-axis mount 3 months ago got it 2 months later and it didn't even work!

They told me the return process would take several weeks for them to process the old mount and make sure its faulty. Then it could take a week for the replacement to be dispatched and that was IF it was in stock. Which was currently back ordered. So basically I was looking at close to a half of a year of waiting for this mount that I wanted. But now I've got enough of Bridge's mounts to last me a lifetime

    carman-

yeah, the link i posted was for posts and post holders. just thought id let y'all know that for an affordable price (unlike edmund) you can get decent optic mounts.

    EO-
forget them! they are beyond ridiculous. pricing, service and selection. i guess the saying though is true-
sell a product for $10 and you will have a market for it. sell the EXACT same product for $50 and you will have the exact same market for it. some people just like spending more $$ for nothing.

Those are nice, but for $129 a pop, they had better be.
