    Default CDRH compliant Key Switch ?

    Just a quick question...What keyswitch is compliant with CDRH requirements ??? I MAY want to someday be certified ????????...but I do need a keyswitch...maybe from DigiKey ??? or does anyone have one 4 sale??? Thanx !!

    HEY CD BEAM-

    just noticed this post, sorry man.

    any key switch where the key CAN NOT be removed in the "ON" position will satisfy the CDRH reqs.

    i purchase mine from Mouser electronics.

    It is unlikely that I will try for CDRH compliance....But maybe !!!! I will check out Mouser...and also Miliptak may have some surplus switches 4 sale.

    CDRH compliance or not-

    in my opinion i think a key switch is pretty important. just my 2 cents. especially if the projector is in a location where friends, family or what have you may want to try and mess around with your laser with you not around. or, you can just smack em around if anyone screws with it! lol.
