    Hi Andy,

Yes, nice pics. I am glad you are enjoying the system including the scanners .

Only one question. I see "black marks" in a consistent place in all images. Is that simply something on the lens, or is it "dead pixels" in the camera after being exposed to the laser?

errr im hoping its dirt but it could also be dead pixals. i try to keep the beam out of the apeture of the camera.

i will clean the lens tonight

    Great pictures! Well done
But: I see a lot of artefacts, jpeg-compression rate is a little bit too high.
You could try some different camera settings or in case you edited the
pics try saving to lossless .png format.
EXIF-Info says flashlight was active. Try turning if off and vary exposure
    times. Whitebalance is very good.
Dead pixels can occur, my cam currently has 2 red ones

i resize the originals from 3mb down the 90kb and then photobucket also takes quality away.

Look for jpeg-compression options in your resizing-software
and adjust for higher quality (but also larger filesize).
