    FLA is a format used by medialas laser painter and the file was flv!
    and yes I am - and it seems to be working

    FLA and FLV are basically the same so shhhhh!

    One more thing G - there is a free application that you get with Medialas Mamba Black that does realtime video tracing which outputs to the laser projector. You can play a video through it or you can use it as I have done with a web cam. It works quite well though the webcam needs a reasonably high contrast subject, so its better in a well lit room - which a laser isnt
    One question. The methods that are used in these performances to pick out objects - are they similar to the technologies used for enviroment recognition in robotics?

    Im not sure if it does work the same as robotic recognition or not.

    It works by taking a background picture, then it compares the pixels between the inputed live feed and the background picture.
