    Question

So... who gets the prototype when you have moved on to another design?

Hey Bridge, this board is 1/4-20 on 1 inch centers on the front half and blank on the back half where the lasers will go, eventually. I'll end up drilling and tapping my own holes when I know what I'm going to mount there. Just measured the thing for the first time, 42" by 24" or to you its 1066mm by 609mm. Gonna try to fit all kinds of goodies in there!

Hey Bridge, the standard is 1/4-20 on 1" centers. Or, using a metric conversion website, it looks like it would be 25.4mm centers. Meaning every hole drilled in the optical bench is spaced out 25.4mm from each other.

but there is inch in American, thanks.
Yep, you can thank our buddies in Great Britain for that one! And we Americans are just too stubborn to switch I guess. Make too much sense to me, a foot is about the lenght of my foot.
