Please fill in your location in your profile

I don't know if it's just me but I like to see where folks come from. This doesn't have to be specific information, as an example, something along the lines of 'Northern UK' or 'California' would be near enough (assuming you live in those areas of course ). It's just that some postings are region specific, particularly when it comes to localised safety laws or when selling items etc.

So can I make a personal plea to ALL members to take a few moments to fill in their location in their profile, and in doing so you'll make an old man happy

I agree - we dont need to know which room in the house you prefer to occupy but knowing a little more than you are on this planet would be good.

I agree that it's a good thing for folks to fill in their location.

One of the first questions I inevitably ask newcomers that need help is, "Where are you located?" Often times there are PL members close by that would be willing to lend a hand, but if they don't know where a person is, they can't very well offer their assistance, can they?
