Exclamation I need some Help!! Iverted blanking?

I am in the process of putting together a temporary projector for s show tomorrow since I can't run my big system, and I am having some issues. I have a 532 module that is always in, but has a connector at the front for I think blanking. When I ground one of the pins the beam is off. When I remove from ground beam is on. I need to connect this to my PANGO card, on intensity /Blanking first I tried hooking it up to pin 3 on what I think is the postive on the board, and - to pin 25. Beam was still on. Tried switching, and beam stays off. Does anyone have any safe blanking inverters schematics? (preferably one that I can go to radio shack and build?) also I would like opto Isolation if possible.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks!

I have attached a picture of the laser, and board.

That is a TTL laser, looks like a... Big Dipper I think. There is no intensity, only on or off. There should only be two leads. If you get light one way when it should be off, swap wires and it should be off until you need it on... If that makes sense. I had, and killed, that same laser. Always worked on my Pango card.

    Try this:

VCC is supposed to be 5v, the circuit seemed to work ok for me

Ps, do you still have those Ledex solenoids you were selling on eBay?

    HI allthatwichis,
Thanks for the reply, yeah I did see it was a ttl stamped next to the plug (it's only for some beams), so just a question, did you say you killed the laser, and Pangolin card?

I did try swapping the wires right now I have pin 3 from the Pangolin to the pin on the connector closest to the laser connector, and the other pin on the connector to pin 25 on the pangolin, (GND).

Should I hook it up to pin 3+, and Pin 16 - or is this a differential??

    Hi Dave,
I do, I will get back with you on Sunday to work something out if you still want them,I will contact you after my show. Right now it's crunch time!!! since they will not let me fire up my big system. Have to get some sort of beams from this unit!

just a question in the schematic, on pin 1 it shows the resitor as 100r is this 100 ohms?

    Thanks for the help!

    100r is 100 ohms yes

VCC is 5v power, sou you will need to supply 5v to all the VCC's

Would you know if I am suppose to be hooking the to pin 25 for ground, or pin 16 on my pangolin? And one last question, on ttl in is that 4K Ohms?

    And Thanks!

So one last question, should I be using pin 3 for + , and pin 16 for - blanking? Or should it be pin 3 +, and pin 25 GND on my QM2000 card?

I have always used 3 and 16, but DZ wired my projector this last time and I have no idea how it is wired. I think Bill said 3 and 16, the colors + and -... He will have to verify that with a post though.
