Great way for smear free optic cleaning

I had trouble with my EO reflect blue dichro. I called them about it and they tried selling me a much more expensive one. Apparantly mine was right on the boundry of the wavelength.
I was persistent with the guy so he tested and hand picked one for me and swapped it over at no cost apart from posting the old one back.
The new dichro had a massive decrease in losses compared to the first one sent..

Lets hope its as good as it sounds though...

although its not looking that great at the moment. I loaned some1 the laser i was suppose to be taking with me,and i got it back broken. took it for repair,and the diode is burned out so i need to get another one before i go. Clive at laser electronics showed me a nice one he's just finished workin on. its a 2.5 watt 532nm. currently doing over 3watts
Just need to get the all important £s now.

The offer still stands, ship me a dichro, specifiy a angle, and I'll run it through a spectrophotometer. Enclose a self addressed box and return postage on the box. Takes about a day. No dichroms or mirrors smaller then the spectrometer beam diameter of 7 mm.

I would think that edmunds had some sort of quality control, but it is possible that if the dichro (not "hand-picked") passes a 30% tolerance plus or minus it might be shipped.. that really sucks tho, for people thinking they're getting a good optical piece w/ a tight tolerance.. I guess you have to go to newport or mg to get that..

The quality isnt that great as its only a cammera phone.
But still pretty impressive,i think. But i would say that £
