I got my set running over the weekend. Mine scan OK. I can't seem to tune them all the way in, but they are working well for beam shows.

What is the difference between the two manuals?

I don't know that there is a difference. I've got the manual from their web site, but it doesn't say anything about jumpers. I was hoping that the other manual had a little more tech info.
