I'm working on a project with a friend to build a 4x8' CNC table with a laser engraver/cutter head.

For the laser, we'll probably start by just engraving/marking with something attainable like this 60w coherent. But if we want to do proper cutting we'll need something like 10x the power. So we're looking to buy something a little heftier.

Not interested in bare bars - array modules with optics to take down the fast axis would be fine. Fiber-coupled would be great.

We're trying to do this whole project at below-market-cost, which means I'm looking for stuff that used or on the surplus market.

Any info or advice appreciated.
