Default Anyone have a power supply for a 250mw cni diode?

My new RGB projector arrived today and the power supply for the green diode is not working. I checked with a meter and there is ac power in, but nothing out. It worked prior to being shipped, but that was on 220v power and nothing here on 110v.

At any rate, I have the oem power supply as in the photo below. Rather than paying shipping from China and waiting over a week, does anyone have a source for one of these in the US? It is for a 250mw green diode.

If you have a source, please let me know so I can get a replacement on the way.

What are the specs for the supply? I think I have 2 5V 5A supplies from Lasever that I don't use. Are you going to this laser in an RGB projector? If so, you might be better off getting a single power supply to power all 3. I have a 5V 20A suppy in my projector.

I am honestly not certain on the specs, I was hoping someone else with a cni diode could tell me. I haven't torn the projector completely apart to get down the the ps yet, just tested with a meter. It's set up for three of the oem ps as pictured and I really just want to replace the one, since the other two for red and blue are fine.

Does anyone know the specs for the ps?

    Hi Fearfair
it sounds like you are sorted but for information those CNI OEM bricks are switch mode 5V at about 4A so any 5v brick with the right connector and current (3-4A) should do the trick

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

Exactly what I was thinking. Can anyone confirm whether the CNI diodes should be center positive or negative? I have not disassembled the projector far enough to know that for certain, but when the other power supply arrives tomorrow, I will check to be certain prior to plugging it in.

    Hi Fearfair

I have just fitted two CNI OEM 150mW heads to my projectors this week and just checked for you that the CNI PSU brick is a centre positive output.

    Hope this helps.
