Uh oh, a tie! Which one is going to pull ahead?! We have the machine ready to start embroidering, just need to know who's logo its going to be!

    Cool

If it's a tie, I'd suggest we go with number 4 simply because it's got fewer colors, which means there will be fewer thread changes required for each shirt.

Yes, but each color change means re-threading the entire machine. And you have to do this for *each* shirt; you can't do all the shirts in one color and then go back and do the next color. So if you make 20 shirts, that's an extra 40 thread changes... It adds up fast.

Well, it seems that there hasn't been a vote in the past few days. Can we just call this vote final, and that candidate 4, submitted by Mecheng, is the winner? I'd like to go ahead and refine/finalize it so we can get it sent off to be digitized for the embroidery machine thingy.

Ok, then the winner is Mecheng! Thanks to all who contributed to the design of the SELEM 2008 logo.

Now, I propose that the chosen logo be revised a bit. I think the output colors of the prism be corrected and the wording beneth SELEM 2008 be simplified.

    Thoughts?

    Cool

I agree that the colors should be fixed. Red on top and blue on the bottom.

As for the text, how about just putting www.photonlexicon.com beneath the SELEM 2008 text?
