    Hi All !
I am a author of Vextractor. As MambaFreak say, the ILDA format and all other things around laser show is totally new for me. I add ILDA format to Vextractor by request of Erich (www.HE-Laserscan.de). He help me with ILDA specifications which is not so clear as must be that sort of documentation. I release 3 mode for output ILDA type 5 with RGB,
ILDA type 1 (with colortable|without colortable). Colortable now has only 2 colors. This options may be set in vector saving dialog by "Options" button.
We test ILDA output in Gento viewer and HE Laserscan III. As I understand, the laser software/hardware may have very different interpretation of ILDA, so I may miss something.

    Hey Tony

No idea about theVextractor problem but agree it looks cool

BTW, Traceit is a Pangolin product that if you own LD2000 or FB3 products you can download for free, but will only work if you have the licences

This one was exported as DXF, edited with a vector editing program, and turned into an ilda with LaserBoy.

WOW! This file had me freaked out for a while!

    I see it now...

When I open it in LaserBoy, it shows up as using gray as a lit color! Which will work OK, but it sure looks weird. Black and gray don't really make sense in the palette for lighting the laser, but they are needed to render the image as a bitmap.
