Rob,
Sorry, forgot to comment on the Lumia pix - VERY nice!!
Have grabbed some of the shows and am going to play tonight when I get home from work! Especially looking forward to the Clocks show
Simon;
Well, don't set your hopes too high! The abstracts in my Clocks show are not on par with the truly awesome ones that Mike Dunn created for the Pink Floyd shows that come with Pangolin... But they are colorful, and if nothing else they may give you some inspiration to tinker with the abstract generator yourself and create new patterns. (Man, that abstract generator is a time-sink! I could spend *months* playing with it - that is if I had the time...)
Adam
Hey Adam,
thanks for that! Yes I agree, the abstract generator is truly a time sinker! But so much fun :-)
Yes Mike's shows are awesome, I commision him quite a bit to create me custom shows as I have only just been able to access the full 3 oscillators of the abstract generator, his shows just rock me! I am putting on a Laserium tribute show tonight for 6 friends, it includes music by ELP, Pink Floyd, B52's and more, all from the original Laserium shows... I have posted a couple more show modules that I use on my youtube space if you care to take a look - the footage isn't great and as it was shot in 16:9 has gone a bit crazy in the upload, all squashed! But you will get the idea of the shows anyhow.
Thanks again, and chat soon!
If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

Hi,

Rob;
I don't know all the differences between the QM032's abstract generator and the QM-2000's abstract generator. Truthfully, I've only been playing with the simple stuff - the three base oscillators and the various waveforms - and those features are common to both boards. I'm sure there are some advanced features that only the QM-2000 supports, but I'm not far enough along on the learning curve to know the difference yet! Sure is a cool piece of software though... (How have you been coming along with your unit?)
Simon;
Ah, so you've actually commissioned Mike to do some custom work for you, eh? *Very* cool. Mike is a genius when it comes to the abstract generator. I love his work. Got a link to those Youtube videos?
Adam

More shows to follow - put on a 40 minute show last night for friends, they tripped out
Simon.
Great stuff! Though I think that show would have been even better with Aaron Copleand's original orchestral arrangement of Hoedown. Still, very cool. More proof that Mike Dunn is a genius!
