Thanks for using it and helping me fix it up a bit. Can you tell us and show us what you're working on? What features of LaserBoy do you find useful? What other things would you like for it to do?

BTW In your space ship animation, it looks like you have some sort of gravity effect going on when the ship swings around the planets. How did you do this? It's really neat!

Oh yeah! One more thing... Are you coming to SELEM this year?

It works on Windows! And work good.
But one shortcoming was noticed. I work under Win2k with 1024x768 resolution and the lower string is not visible(the string where I write name of file).
What I wish to see is GUI. With the exception of that your work is excellent.

You can edit the laserboy.bat file to enter the resolution of you choice

Yes, and you do not have to maintain any kind of aspect ratio, except for wider-than-high.

So for a 1024x768 screen, try setting LaserBoy.bat to

    LaserBoy 1024 750

That way, you'll have enought room to see the title bar of the window and move it around, but the contents of the window will be almost the whole screen.

No problem. I was looking for the tool like that for about 4 years.

Can you tell us and show us what you're working on?
Buying full version of Illustrate! cuz evaluation version I have will end soon.

Showwize? Hmmm something with easy Trance music. Something about space earth life and etc. Just have to get into the mood

    DXF to ILDA!!!!

What other things would you like for it to do?
    SVG to ILDA
    AI to ILDA
    SWF to ILDA

Space ship is based on a cube the turned to polys and then moded to make a space ship look. Cabin is a poly detach. 2 engines are cylinders to poly and moded. Planets are spheres. Planet with a crater is a 2 spheres boolean. Saturn is sphere and the ring is a tube with hight of 0. Then spaceship path is a spline. Spaceship turns are done manually. Then there is a camera path which is a circle spline. Then everything fed to Illustrate! and here we go. I'll do a tutorial soon.

Oh yeah! One more thing... Are you coming to SELEM this year?
12 hours drive for me. Hmmm I don't know. I can but without all my gear

Sounds to me like all you need to bring is your brain!

Can you send me some examples of all of these file types. It looks like I can find decent documentation on the file formats, but I don't see any reason to decode each whole file format! Just the parts we will need for laser vector art.
