I'm adding a whole new menu of wave utilities to LaserBoy now.
Pretty soon you'll be able to see the stats of a LaserBoy wave, show it on the screen in real time (directly from the wave data), apply sample offsets for proper position to color alignment, invert the polarity for upside-down DACs and probably some other stuff.
It will make all of the LaserBoy signal generating stuff much more complete.
Someone else here at PL is working on a system with a modified sound card and he's using LaserBoy to drive it. Hopefully he can find lots of little issues for me to fix!
By the time SELEM rolls around it should be faily well debugged and feature rich.

Holy cow! Thats a nice animation Dr Laser. So, can you create this dxf file in a cad program, import it into LaserBoy, save it as a series of frames, then import it into Pangolin?!
He's saving it as a single, minimized ILDA file.

No it's must easier. You create a series of DXFs in your favorite 3d program (I'm using 3ds Max and Illustrate! (30 day trial is available)) then import it into Laserboy and save it as a one animated ILDA. And then import it to whatever you like. They only issue is that you need to know the limit of your models and animations. It may look cool in preview but it would be too much for galvos.

Hmm, I opened it in Pangolin, sadly, things don't look right at all. All the frames are like this, lines blanked where they shouldn't be or just plain erratic.
Hmm James can you take a look at this because I have the same thing while I do normal import. It mistakes some normal lines and blanks. I have to put couple of options in my converter to avoid that.
