Default Diode compare ML101J27 Vs. hl6545mg

    Hey!
My first post. My name is Julian, I am 20 years old and I come from Germany. My home is the Laserfreak Forum ;-) But I like this Forum very much. But my English is not so good. Sorry!

I have a short question. Have somebody experiences with red laser diodes? I found two diodes which could be interesting for me. The Opnext hl6545mg and the Mitsubishi ML101J27.
    Which is the better one?

    Thank You!

    Greets

Choosing between those diodes I would choose the Mitsubishi ML101J27. It has a longer die and in my experience, very good output quality.

i would go with the Mitsubishi ML101J27 too i use them in a multi red in aixiz housings with three element glass lens with 0.3mrad divergence and they are happy to run at 250mw all day in a good heatsink

    Hey!
That sounds very good! I think too, that the mitsubishi is better and long lasting. Does anybody know where i can buy this diode?

    Here is one place:

    http://www.thorlabs.com/thorProduct....umber=ML101J27

I think they can also be found in the ggw-h20l 6x blu-ray burner along with a nice 405nm diode.
