Cool $100 Safety Googles? I think not!

Shoebox + Digital Camera = absolutely ridiculous looking protection from any wavelength of laser!

hahaha great photo. However I'm afraid my laser would burn right through that shoebox.

That would be a fun way to see the world for a while. With good batteries, you might use it long enough to actually get used to it.

It's also the best looking virtual reality helmet I've seen in a while. Do you have headphones in there?

@lambo: unforunately no, not really a joke, I wasn't going to go spend more on glasses than I did on my laser for 5 minutes of aligningment

@drlava: yeah only 50mw, so I wasnt going to burn through the box

@james: the screen is a little small on my camera, i walked around a little in my apartment and it was not so awesome

@frank: yeah I kind of stole the idea from some one on here talking about wearing a can on his head with an LCD on the inside and a camera on the outside, but I thought I would simplify that and make it cheaper, haha

    :P

Looks ridiculous but I'm sure it works. The best part is that you can most likely view and align IR beams.
