    Talking LaserBoy 06-19-2008 w/ UNICODE!

Thanks to decix, for pointing out that a German keyboard is significantly different than an American English one, I went through the whole keyboard interface loop and changed it all so now it looks for matches in Unicode, instead of the actual keyboard matrix numbers. This should work with any keyboard that can provide the whole set of glyphs that LaserBoy is looking for, no matter where they are located on the keyboard or what combination of keys is required to generate them.

Also in my search of the code, I finally saw something that has been there all along. I never got it before! Now I know why I've not been able to do some things that I've wanted to do since the beginning! I haven't started working on anything of what I just dicovered. I just wanted to get this version out there ASAP.

    Thanks!
But maybe it's not working right, I still have to confirm my exit with the "z"-key.

    Nice going.
When using Illustrate! to generate DXFs, it creates the attached when nothing is visible. This crashes laserboy.
In the course of animation there are times when blank frames are created, so maybe you could have laserboy recognize this as a blank frame on dxf import?

    edit:
also, keypad numerals work now (yay) but keypad enter doesn't.

    edit 2: a feature request.
Progress indication when doing operations on entire frame set.

    thanks

    That's cool. I agree.

Hmmmm. I'm still looking at event.key.keysym.sym to see some keys. There is no event.key.keysym.unicode for the arrow keys; at least not that I can see. I'll keep trying.

    Wouldn't that be great!

Listening to the hard drive just isn't getting for you huh?

Since we are sort-of on the subject... I think Dr Laser probably speaks, reads, and writes French. (I'm guessing. )

I'm fairly sure decix knows German...

How about you guys helping me make a multilingual string table for LaserBoy... please?

I guess I can make a table of strings that need to be translated... and some terminology. You know... just the right words.

I speak American! I do not know any other language. I wish I did!

Awesome! I will have to put together a list of strings and I will also have to make sure I have enough of those funny little marks to go above some of the letters.
