At the end of the day... if the wife still lets me in the house from my lab after I just bought yet another piece of equipment... I really can't complain =)

My fiance appreciates lasers and seems entertained by them, but can't quite comprehend why I spend so much money on them.

Then there's the time I spend on the internet on weekday nights. I think she's silently protesting when I go upstairs to go to sleep and she's already asleep with no warning.

Lose the girlfriend or the wife.. your not supposed to have both, that may be the problem, not the lasers..

My partner would probably rather have me sitting next to him, watching a movie than sitting in the basement, by myself, writing code till 3 or 4AM.

As far as money goes, we've only really spent the one big chunk of cash for the laser projector. He was totally cool with that. Good thing I don't have to spend any money on software or a control system!

Oh well. He's happy when I'm happy.

It's 3:22AM. I think I should go to bed. I'm pretty happy though, I did a lot of stuff to LaserBoy! I should have a new release soon.

    James.
