Getting started

I'm quite new to the world of lasers I'm looking for a cheap pointer to get me started, I want one that I can Mod and fiddle with a bit but doesn't cost too much. I'm open to all suggestions.

I would suggest somewhere like laserpointerforums.com for that information. Most of the people here are interested in lab bench type lasers. I could be proven wrong though, just trying to help you find the information you are looking for.

Maybe you will even like what you see here and get addicted. Then end up spending way more than you intended to, hahaha.
