Default Whats Up With These Scanners? :(

here are pictures of my scanners on the RGB. i think these are WAAAAY outta wack. it seems as if (and i could be wrong...) that these are in need of some SERIOUS tuning.

these were all imported into in LiveQ. they are the display files DL'd from adams scanner tutorial.

    whatcha think?

Well, your angle is way too big for testing. Assuming your scanners have around 40 degrees at 100% then you should be at around 20% (8 degrees) for testing. But even so, I see a lot of overshoot so they probably do need to be tuned up.

Yea man, you're spanking the shit out of them at those angles. My DT40s are tuned to 30K at almost 10 degrees, or 29% on my Pangolin settings. That is also a relative setting... depending on the gain of your scanners. Try yours at 30%, 30K...

Carmagary is right, you've got lots of overshoot there, Mark! Need to add some LF damping on both X and Y.

Before you tune though, remember to set the scan angle correctly. The ScanPro 30's are normally good for 12 to 15 degrees optical when displaying the ILDA test pattern, but I'd start with 10 degrees and see how they look first.

And yeah, Aaron is right - no way you'll be able to run the ILDA test pattern with your size set to 100%!

    All right.
For test don't need 100% angle.
    See 30K@15 degress of test.
