P.S havent figured out how to change colour in LaserBoy, so if you could make it in green I'd appreciate it greatly
    Thanks
To recolor every vertex in a single frame:

k // enter draw, color, blank mode
\ // (backslash) to put the vertex select start on the first one
    | // (pipe, shifted backslash) to put the vertex select end on the last one
p // press and hold the p key to move through the palette to index 24, pure green (0 255 0)
c // tap the c key to color all of the selected vertices green
[Esc] // to get out of draw, color, blank mode
o // (letter o) to output the all green frame
1 // (digit one) to save only the current frame as ILDA
(type the name you want. Use only letters, numbers and the underscore) [Enter].

    That's it!

I can add anything. I guess it makes sense to be able to blow away all the color and make everything either white or blank.

OK. Look for that in the next release!

    Thanks!

In the mean time, try this:

make a text file with this in it:

    Code:
    X_______
    Red Green Blue
      0 255 0
Save it as x.pal in the palettes folder in the LaserBoy directory.

    Open the palette into LaserBoy

    i // input
    6 // ascii palette
x // the name of the palette

Now it will appear in the target palette position.

    Go into palette transforms

    p // palette transforms
A // shift a to do a best match to the new palette.

    There is only one color!

    That works!

    James.

PS I just added option 'e' in the palette transforms menu (LaserBoy 07-08-2008). It strips the color information.

Yeah it is, someone scanned it out on youtube, turned out quite good too! I just need someone who can convert it for me, or some free softwares.

    Hi Things,

-Convert the AVI video into a black-and-white video using VirtualDub v1.8.1. (www.virtualdub.org)
-Play it on your PC and capture it with cheap webcam using the free VST 1.63.
-Convert it to ILDA and you have your movie.

Please visit www.hobby-lasers.startpagina.nl for a lot and a lot more free laser software.
