In response to your PM to me about measurements, here you go.
Coming out of the head 1 inch away from the head, the width of the beam is 1/4 inch
25 feet away from the head the beam is 2 inches wide 1.25 inches tall. Ok so now someone do the calculations figure out the divergence.
Thanks for letting me know !

Here you can easy calcuate the divergence.
Looks like around 3.3mrad // and 5.8mrad _|_ .

I'm not sure that is fair, those Lasevers are focusable. I bet it is not at the most optimum focus. I would slmosst rather have a Lasever than a CNI for these fatty beams just because it is focusable.
Thats right DrLaser. Its the diode type and not the setting. Thats our problem with red "highpower" lasers. Good beamdiameters=highprice. Lowprice=china lasers with wide emitter.
Nopes there is no such a thing as single-diode-highpower-good-beam-spec.
Once you get above 200mw @635nm beam spec goes to wild zoo. Thats the nature and there is no difference between China cheap and Germany expensive.
Only way you can get a good spec is with a big array of below 200mw diodes and a beam expander. Because in this case there are multiple emitters used, beam spec can be very good. Thats how Arctos and other people do their monsters.
I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!
Sold !! to Joe Holloway $865. Who is Joe?
I bid twice on it when it was in the 300 range.. Too rich for my budget..
Congrats Joe, 1/2 Watt of 635..Mmmm... yummy
All good but I would not touch Lasever products with a 10 foot pole. Wait give me 20.
