New style of S-KY portable lasers

I think there is much bigger problem then FDA/CDRH.
I had 2 lasers from S-KY. They both died after few months and the last one wasn't even sealed properly.

Thats true, the one the sent me died after 5 hours. A friend has a pointer where the beam comes out 20 degrees off concentric with the pointer and the aperture blocks it.

Actually, guys, searching accession numbers alone will usually not turn up anything - you really need a Docket# (your Variance# usually ends-up also being the same #) or Co. Name... So, we really need more info to turn up anything on 'S-KY', there... And yeah, Ben - that 'FDA' sticker, there, is about as real as Pam Andersons' cocos... the FDA does NOT issue any such-like 'approval' stickers...

Even a search at the more 'direct' laser-product-related search-areas of the FDA HERE or HERE, (ie: type in "Laser Fantasy" and whamo! you get all kinds of info...) turn up nothing on "S-KY", nor on that 'accession #' - it is not even in the correct format of an accession#; not unless they've changed them but every one I've ever seen is not like that - always has the Year, "A" for 'accession' (vs "V" for 'variance'), the Product Report# and the 'revision' # (ie rev. 01, or 02, etc...) an example would-be: 03A2599-02 (not an actual acc.#, just a format-example...)

So... S-KY: we'd need your Co. Name, as-registered with the CDRH, OR a legitimate Docket#...this way, advertising your products here on PL will likely not get 'blackballed' as unwanted spam from another 'hack' Co... we fight hard to keep things on the 'up and up' in our industry, here, in the States, and really appreciate it when Co's (ie: Laserwave, etc) do things 'by the book', as much of a pain in the kiester it can be, sometimes... Ya dig?

So, any comment / more info from S-KY?
