Well, LiveQuick only goes to 30kpps in the settings. However, there is a scanrate slider in the live controls, and it goes to 200%. I don't know if the FB3 will actually do 60kpps then though.
In LAStudio you can set the scanrate to 60kpps directly in the settings.

The scanners are tuned and rated @ 30k. This does not mean they wont go higher but the quality of the image will beging to suffer the higher you go. You must be scanning a lot of points for 30k to flicker....

puching them higher say to 45k damages them right? and in what way?
