    Default fb3 @ 30kps

is it possible to make the fb3 scan any higher than 30kps because i got flicker on some stuff on my old scanners, i just brought scanners from stanwax and it looks like they are happy to run at 40kps for some stuff

Well, LiveQuick only goes to 30kpps in the settings. However, there is a scanrate slider in the live controls, and it goes to 200%. I don't know if the FB3 will actually do 60kpps then though.

In LAStudio you can set the scanrate to 60kpps directly in the settings.

The scanners are tuned and rated @ 30k. This does not mean they wont go higher but the quality of the image will beging to suffer the higher you go. You must be scanning a lot of points for 30k to flicker....
