    Talking LaserBoy 07-26-2008 !!!

This version fixes the issue of correctly displaying move_points_per_key_hit values in the appropriate places in the menus and it adds a new feature to be able to set rotate_degrees_per_key_hit for the rotation of vertices or segments. This is all about making a frame set with moving elements that move at a predictable, repeatable rate!

Good news! I'm really excited! I just got portaudio 19 to compile on my Windows machine and I ran some of the test programs. It can see that I have an Echo Layla 24/96 and that it has 8 digital ins & outs AND 8 analog ins & outs !!!!

    Woooooooo Hooooooooo !!!

Now If I can do the same thing in Linux, then I can get someone else to help me with Mac OSX. Soon LaserBoy will rule the Universe!

I'm sure it will... ...as soon as you implement a GUI!!!
German users still have the previously mentioned problem with different keyboard layout. I can't even quit Laserboy without killing it's process in task manager.

    Ctrl-C doesn't work?

No. It doesn't. All the signals are trapped. It reads the keys. That's it. I even stripped out the X in the Window corner.

From the main menu, [Esc] takes you out, but it asks you first, if you really want to quit. You must answer 'y'. Anything else will be a no. Then it asks you if you want to quit without saving OUT.ild, which is whatever is still loaded in the memory. Again 'y' is the only positive response.

I thought I had this sorted out when I rewrote the whole keyboard loop to look at unicode instead of 7 bit ASCII values.

    'Y' is 'Y', right? I don't know!

Nope. Y and Z are swapped in german/english layout. But there are more differences which make it impossible to work with your program. Gave up testing...

Hmmmm. Maybe I'll have to put in a key that just kills the whole thing no-questions-asked.

    That's a bummer!

If you ever find a nice Qwerty keyboard, you would be fine, I think...

I should look into being able to use my computer with the German layout for testing.
