Who were the other companies which made similar producrs to this?
I remember the Redline Beam Box, but I am sure there were others. I quite fancy one of these at the right price.

I have that same Mobo platform. Mine's the ML10 "Big G". It came with a 3w melles on it and a pair of GM20s. The whole thing originally interfaced with a proprietary DMX/control board that probably plugged into that 10v plug.

It's really cool that a few other people out there have these things. I haven't found any documentation about them so far, except from Melles for the DPSS. Lumalaser bought Mobolazer and they are based near here in Eugene, OR. They don't offer much advice though, I've found.

I have to run now, but I'll hop back in here with whatever advice I can give.
